Found objects carry a history. In Crooked House, burnt matches form the collograph plate for the embossed eggshell-like print on the front cover; the used plate becomes the back cover. Inside the book a broken mirror and a print from that mirror reveal contrasts of light and dark; opaque and reflective.

Can is wrinkled and rusty forming a connection between the folds of the unmade bed and the crushed metal of the can. This reinforces and translates material from soft to hard; from clean and protected to damaged and weathered.

Raku fired clay slabs evoke tablets from ancient times. One of the oldest forms of writing, Linear B, is such an impression in clay from Knossos in Crete. This fragile and heavy form somehow survived thousands of years. This piece is a comment on language and history.
